The Gallery Reopens! 

Our gallery and boutique in Wakefield closed its doors temporarily at the end of August with the conclusion of A Plea for the Earth. We’ve always wanted to keep the gallery going outside our seasonal shows, and we’re giving it a shot: starting next week, we’re carrying out a pilot project of “Wall Opportunities: in-between shows”. For now, they’ll be informal shows with trusted collaborators, but once we’ve worked out the kinks, we’ll be opening it up to artists who want to have their own shows!

First up is Andie Haltrich. You might have come across her at Art in the Park, where workshop participants had the chance to make one of her unique “mini-painting pendants”. Andie’s marvellous multi-disciplinary works will be filling the gallery for October alongside our Boutique section, which offers a variety of gift-worthy bits and bobs from local artists. 

New opening hours starting Oct. 2:

• Thursdays: 1 – 6 p.m.
• Fridays: 1 – 6 p.m.
• Saturdays: 12 – 4 p.m.
