We'll guide you through putting this event on in your community.

In the workshops we kept emphasizing how important it is to have your 'package' together - whether it is as a venue/event organizer looking for artists or artists looking for a place to perform or exhibit.
Theatre of the Beat certainly have this down pat:
  • I get an email with these 2 files with a short cover letter as an initial outreach.
  • From their show description it takes me 5 minutes to see whether I like it and whether this production is suitable for my audience/venue.
  • The Hosting Guide gives me the low down on their fees and technical requirements.  I can now put together an initial budget.
If I want the show, they look like they got all their promo materials ready for me, no problem.

Were you a little overwhelmed at the workshops?

If you think this production would be great for your venue or a good fundraiser for your group - we are here to help.

Brenda and I will 'mentor you though your - maybe? - first event.

I have hosted 2 productions by this company and they have always delivered high quality, engaging theatre.

Founded in 2011, Theatre of the Beat is a Canadian touring theatre company working to catalyze conversations on social justice and its intersection with the beliefs of the communities in which it finds itself. This production should be of interest to any community that wants to look at these these issues.  Schools and churches come to mind, of course, but it is equalyy of interest to communities in general.  Remember, this is a musical and I guarantee YOU WILL BE ENTERTAINED!
